How does the system work?
Step-by-step description

Substrate preparation – priming and smoothing the wall (1–2 h + drying time).
- First layer of waterproofing – (30 min + 24 h drying).
- Second layer of waterproofing – (30 min + 24 h drying).
- Applying Aqua Zone™ wallpaper – fitting and installing the panels (1–2 hours).
- Application of protective varnish – two layers (1 h + 12 h drying).
- Full wall readiness – after 7 days the whole thing reaches maximum resistance.
All preparations and accessories are included in the set – you do not need to purchase anything separately.

By purchasing the Aqua Zone system, you receive not only exclusive bathroom wallpaper, but also a complete set of products necessary for installation. All the necessary chemicals for each installation step: priming , waterproofing, wallpapering, and impregnation are included in the Aqua Zone kit.

Yes. The heart of the system is a vinyl wallpaper mounted on a mesh, protected by a special impregnation. This ensures that moisture, steam, and direct contact with water are no threat – the wallpaper retains its shape and appearance for years.
Standard wallpaper, even vinyl, is not suitable for showers or other wet areas. Aqua Zone is a complete system – in addition to the wallpaper, it includes a primer, waterproofing, impregnation, and dedicated adhesives. Only the entire system ensures full waterproofness and durability.
Yes! Any of the over 600 designs available at Wall Art can be customized for wet areas. You can also provide your own graphic file and create a completely custom mural.
The process takes several days, as each layer (primer, waterproofing, wallpaper, impregnation) must dry thoroughly to achieve its full properties. It's an investment in quality and safety – the end result is incomparable to any other solution.

No – this is one of Aqua Zone's greatest advantages. Unlike resin systems, the impregnation used in Aqua Zone preserves the visible structure of the wallpaper, such as a modern concrete effect. This makes the wall waterproof while still looking beautiful.
Primarily in showers and bathrooms, but also in spas, hotels, kitchens, and other areas exposed to high humidity and water. There's no need to use the Aqua Zone system on sinks or walls that don't have direct contact with water.
The use of the Aqua Zone system is recommended for walls on which water is poured directly, e.g. in a shower or next to a bathtub adjacent to the wall.
The impregnation used in the system leaves a subtle, satin finish on the surface – neither completely matte nor glossy, creating an elegant combination of both. Satin gives the wallpaper a refined look, subtly highlighting the depth of color and the structure of the pattern while preserving its natural character.
We don't recommend combining two different materials in the middle of the wall, as this can affect the visual cohesion of the arrangement. However, combining them in the corners is acceptable, where the differences will be much less noticeable. It's also worth remembering that applying a sealer gives the wallpaper a subtle satin effect, which can subtly affect its shade, making it slightly different from the color of wallpaper left unsealed.
